Where are we?

We are in a little village called Stalisfield which is 20 minutes away from all the local towns, Faversham, Ashford, Maidstone, Canterbury, Sittingbourne. We like to say we are in the middle of nowhere but the middle of everywhere – a great meeting point in Kent.

Are we dog friendly?

Yes we have dog friendly areas of the pub – just let us know when you book. We have water bowls and biscuits for our 4 legged friends too!

Is there parking?

Can you eat outside?

Yes we have 8 tables on our patio area at the front of the pub so you can enjoy the summer vibe and views to the coast – weather permitting!

What is the vibe at the pub?

Well we are a pub but Richards cooking is amazing so the food is really good quality, the pub classic menu boasts all of your traditional pub items, burgers, fish and chips, steak etc but they are all great quality, often with a twist but keep their authenticity, the blackboard of specials is the super pretty food, packed with attention to detail and flavours!

Is all the food made on site?

Fundamentally yes, we make our own bread, burger buns, sauces, chutneys, pesto’s, desserts, ice creams, sorbets but honestly there’s normally about 3 things on the menu at anytime that aren’t but that’s because we’ve found someone who does it better than us – but it’ll only be an element of the dish – ie Richard found this amazing lady who makes the best crumpets ever & there’s a great bakery for sourdough bread in Chatham but everything else on the dish is all his!

Are there local walks?

Yes – we are in an area of outstanding natural beauty, you simply must take in the natural beauty around you, we’ve got maps and wellies so there’s no excuses!
